Things that go pop in the night

When you have a surgically repaired knees, you are more sensitive to sounds. So imagine the concern with Iman Shumpert heard a "pop" in his knee. Coach Woodson held him out for the second half of the game against the Magic as a precaution -- especially given the history of knee problems on the Knicks.

Shump came back on Monday against Toronto and it looks like he is still contributing with and efficient 8 points, 2 assists and 4 steals in his last game.

Lin shoutout to Shump as "key" part of the Knicks

After another taste of "Linsanity" at the Garden, Lin gave Shump a Shoutout during the post-game interview.

According to Lin: "They are missing very key guys. And right at the top of the list is Shump. He's definitely a difference maker....And obviously Carmelo and Amar'e..."

Jeremy Who?

Raymond Felton helps the Knicks faithful forget about Jeremy Lin with another outstanding game. He
had a game high 25 points to help the Knicks remain undefeated.

Shump might have trouble breaking into this rotation. Not! There will be a place for him but it will be interesting to see if there will be chemistry issues when he returns.
